READING UPDATE
We are well into February now…how many of us have found our book-reading groove? Shockingly….I have. After stumbling to a two-book 2020, I have come out of the gate hot and have already wrapped up my fifth page-flipper. The goal this year is 20 books, and if I can’t hit it this time…I never will.
MY MUSIC LIFE
Music has played a vital part of my life. Not a day goes by where the rhythm, pace, attitude and emotion of music doesn’t in some way, shape or form connect with me.
TURNING PAGES
Books are an important part of my world. While 2020 was not a stellar year for reading, I’m putting forth a renewed effort to flip pages and enjoy the written word.

In the amount of time it takes to read this sentence, brands are creating video ads looking to create awareness, impact metrics and increase purchase intent. In all honesty, they’re looking to do it in less…six seconds.
MAVS MEDIA DAY
The NBA’s Dallas Mavericks showcased not only their team and some fresh new jerseys prior to the start of the 2021 regular season, they also executed a media car wash master class.
PICK UP THE CAMERA
I decided that this past weekend was the perfect opportunity to flex the shutterbug muscle in me and spend an early evening pursuing creativity in a way that I’ve ignored for far too long.
THE PATH FORWARD
I head into the final weeks of this year knowing that my path forward in 2021 must be different than the one I leave behind in the rearview mirror.
